“PPC theme featuring a Cylon from Battlestar Galatica”

If you're a fan of Battlestar Galatica then I'm sure you'd love to have one of the Cylons guarding your Pocket PC device.

If you aren't aware of the series, the Cylons are the robot race at war with the twelve colonies of humanity in Battlestar Galatica. This theme features an image of a Cylon centurian in front of a space background with the Battlestar Galatica logo at the foot of the picture. The Today screen text is changed to orange in order to match the logo.

What's more, the Start menu is overhauled with a grey transparent background and the top and bottom navigation bars of the Windows Mobile interface are changed to a metallic grey color. The color scheme is certainly in-keeping with the science fiction theme and all menu items remain perfectly readable.

If you're a Battlestar Galactica fan you'll love this theme. If not, you may find it just a tad geeky.

This theme is based around the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica. The Cylons are a cybernetic civilization at war with the Twelve Colonies of humanity in the Battlestar Galactica science fiction franchise, in the original 1978 & 1980 series, as well as the 2003 reimagining.

In the 1978 series, the Cylons are also the race who created the robot Cylons. The nature and origins of Cylons differ greatly between the two Galacticas. However both series feature Cylon Raiders, Cylon Basestars and Cylon Centurions.
